Explore Netsso Secure Cloud Organizer and How it Works
Netsso is a private, web data organizer, which enhances your security, and productivity on the internet and in the sharing of links and files with your internet correspondents and collaborators. As your exclusive secure cloud organizer it bookmarks thousands of your selected links and Notes, including links to your files online- which you can encrypt and manage from Netsso's desktops- and includes a simple to set up, sophisticated Netsso Group for managing teams or projects. Links are gathered in Collections, on Desktops, inside thematic Albums, all of which you create, as needed, with clicks. They are always private to you, encrypted by your option (with clicks) and available to you wherever you are in the world, on any computer/ most devices. Also, you can share securely with other members or with email addresses.

In a single person, private Netsso, the user uploads a file to his online storage service- Dropbox, GoogleDrive or OneDrive- via Netsso/Online Files menu, and while doing so he chooses to have that individual file strongly, randomly encrypted or not. Later, when he logs in to Netsso on any other computer / most devices, he can access that encrypted file from his storage service and it arrives at his local machine fully decrypted (if he wishes). In fact, the storage service delivers the file and Netsso delivers the decryption key, but all done locally on the user’s computers, and synchronised by Netsso on the receiving machine.
In a Group, the system is the same. Any member of a Group who has been given, by the Manager, the right to use the Online Files attachment service has full access to the files, both uploading and downloading, encrypting and decrypting. Group member A can upload an encrypted file and member B can download and read it. In effect, a Group is like an encrypted “closed” community based in cyberspace, exchanging files and other communication (=encrypted chat) It may b e unique in that regard.

These are for recording access data to destinations - web sites or pages - which require the visitor to enter his credentials (normally Username and Password) before gaining access. These credentials are built into the link itself, making Netsso a unique "password manager" service. There are two methods of making a Login link, depending on the destination. For some leading web sites, Netsso has made ready-templates on which you enter your credentials and then Submit. And where a template does not exist for a web destination, a Manual method is offered.
You will be helped also by a "wizard" during the link-making procedure and you can take a minute to study an animated guide, (to the Manual method) which we strongly recommend

Netsso comes in two versions: www.netsso.com, for desktops and larger tablets, and m.netsso.com for small tablets and mobile phones.
The full functionality of Netsso is provided on desktops/larger tablets in Android, but some functionality is not available in the mobile version, on smaller screens and phones, notably the sharing of links and the use of Joint Netssos (J-Nets). However, bookmarking, password management and online document management and encryption (NSCM) is available on the smaller devices.
A Group is basically the same as a personal Netsso except that it is operated by two or more persons jointly. It is established by one member of Netsso and he then invites other members to join him in using the Group for their common purpose. A typical purpose could be Research, the joint investigation, collation and curation of knowledge on a special topic. Or management of a joint project of any sort. Another purpose would be use as a secure forum in which a consultant / lawyer / other professional would share documents and communications with clients, as well as confidential discussions about the documents or the matter; and
the possibility to Chat with each other securely (- that is, encrypted chat).
The combination of jointly operated bookmarks to any web object, documents available instantly online and secure chat, all inside a password-protected environment, represents a powerful tool for efficient and productive cloud computing and collaboration.
And its extremely easy to set up – in seconds!
Benefits of using Netsso links to files held in various online stores.

We refer below to Dropbox, but the benefits generally apply to many different online stores, including GoogleDrive and OneDrive

In Summary:

* You can have links to files located in different online stores on the same desktops in Netsso
* You can place files from different Dropbox folders onto the same Netsso desktop or Collection, via their links
* You can drag these file links around and re-group them as necessary, in special Collections for example
* You can, in effect, re-arrange your filing structure in Dropbox by rearranging their links, not touching the files
* You can add 400 characters of Descriptions to each file link
* You can search files in your online stores much more rapidly, and accurately via their links
* You can share or email files easier by sharing or emailing their links
* You can combine links to your online files with links to other web resources
* You can Peview a file, or a group of files, via their links.
* Multiple members of Netsso can share a file in one members Dropbox, via its Netsso link.

1. When you load a new file to DropBox, via the Netsso/NSCM Upload, you can right-click the file and notice the following management options

2. These options operate from inside your Netsso view of your Dropbox page. Right click the file and select the option. One of these options is "Copy link for Netsso". When you do that you can then pick any -relevant to you- desktop in your Netsso and Paste the link (a Simple Link). (Or, as a routine, you can paste all Dropbox file links on one or two desktops, for copying to other relevant desktops ;later, or as needed)

3. When pasting a link to a desktop you are also invited to edit it to suit your future purposes or needs or likely use of that link. For example, you can change the title to something more relevant to your interests. (For example, you might change "Footwear Inc" link title to "See best suede shoes here"). Importantly you can also add a Description of the link, to remind you in future why you saved it and to add further details for future searching. Descriptions take up to 400 characters.

4. When you right-click on the link, to see what your management options are direct from the desktop (- i.e. without first opening your Dropbox-), you see this menu for a Simple link:

Notice that most of the important management functions operate direct from the desktop. You can Preview the file, Open it, or send it via its link.

5. These links can be dragged to any other desktops, and copies made if needed. They can be grouped together with links to web pages or other web objects, perhaps in compiling a comprehensive group of your resources on current important projects or topics. They can also be mixed with similar links to files held, by you or others, on other online stores. (Example: your team colleague can share to you some of his links to files held on GoogleDrive and you mix these in with your links to files held on Dropbox and other resources).

6. You can "share" links to other Netsso members and in some cases you can email links. You can share them also to Joint Netssos, where team members of the J-Net can all click to read the files behind the links.

7. Searching for files in Dropbox can at times be frustrating, because you can only search file Titles. But searching for files via their links in your Netsso is much faster and likely to be more accurate, because Netsso searches both file titles and full Descriptions. This greatly widens/ expands your base of searchable key words.

8. When a Dropbox is shared, there is often the problem of what folder to put what files into. This is the case even when the DB is not shared, but operated by you alone. Over time, you find that you end up selecting different folders for the same type of content/ files. One day you select alphabetically, another day by date, etc. Do you file the "Rugby trip to Paris" in the Rugby folder or the Paris folder?, etc. But if you routinely use desktop links to Dropbox files, then this problem is greatly eased: The much better searching helps you to find what you're really looking for and links can easily be dragged between desktops, equivalent to switching their associated files between folders, something that is much more difficult to do. Note that you can change the "filing structure" of your links, without actually moving the files themselves. So can any other colleague using the same Dropbox and Netsso. His file structure can be designed to suit his perspectives and decisions, and can be very different to yours, even thought you both work off the same real files stored in your joint Dropbox, real files which are never moved (- although normally they can be moved without breaking the links). Each of you can have his own Online Information Library, based on the same real files in Dropbox, - or in any other online store !

9. And, don't forget!.. In Netsso, your files stored online can be encrypted. When you share it to another member, which you can do from a desktop link, he, only, can read it.
To set this up, we recommend that the Manager of the Group should register a special new account with the chosen online store rather than give the Group members access to his personal storage account. (This is purely for personal privacy reasons, to avoid giving access to his private files accidentally). Then he attaches this new account to the Group, as per the instructions on the Group / Online Files page (Top menu link).
As an alternative to using an attachment to an online storage service for the Group itself, the Manager may decide to ask each member to offer files to the Group from each members own personal online file storage service, by taking a Public Link to the file in question and placing it in the Group for other users to read it.
